[Piano technician (Contest)]

A little empty in the first part, and....

As it is right now, the first minute is a little empty and could use more to fill it in. After the first minute, we find out the piano never changes so that puts the entire song on the repetitive side and I kinda wish the piano would change it up more. Your ideas are nice, but you hold them out too long with not enough change.

Good work, but maybe change things up to keep it interesting. At least change the piano up if anything.

Really good stuff

Really cool sound. I normally don't like Trance, so that's a lot coming from me. The drums are a nice touch, they seem to blend very well with the synths.

A few parts have some distortion from peaking, but it's no huge deal for me.

But the drums make it peak and you need to fix those. Please fix them cuz it would sound great otherwise and I feel you are ruining a great song simply by not considering one thing, which was making the drums overly loud and peaking as a result.

Really good intro

I like how this starts up. The drums though, need a little bit more oomph IMO, but it's not a huge deal. That Voice Vocoder thing needs work though as it kinda is a rough blend with the rest of the instruments. It's probably because it's lacking enough frequencies to sound good. Change at about 1:50 was kinda sudden and you may want to gradually get to that change rather than all of a sudden.

Also, the constantly repeating bell/piano thing was kinda annoying and you may want to change it up some so it doesn't really start to pierce into one's ears.

Nice work on what you have though, I just feel it needs more work to help get things more solid.

waaaay too much echo

Tone down that echo man, its not a good thing for low sounds, and it's especially bad if you use it on too many things. I think if you got rid of the echo, this song would suddenly sound a lot better. Doesn't really sound classical so you may want to change the genre, as this is more electronic sounding.

At 2 mins, when you add in the new bass, it doesn't fit because the rest stays the same with it finally in there, thus making it sound out of place. Either bring it in sooner, or change things up.

Also, the song is overly repetitive and could use more variation with the piano which shouldn't have repeated the same stuff over and over and over again.

So yeah, you may want to rethink the effects you used, and maybe consider this of a different genre. If you work on this some more, it will sound good, but for now, I just can't really get into it as there's too much wrong with it.

EQ needs major work

Nothing is upfront enough for this to sound good. The playing is pretty nice though, but the recording really butchers it. If you are using a program to edit it, you may want to use compression and proper EQ to help bring things up front. The ending is also pretty bad and I suggest you just think of a new ending.

Also I know this is a demo, but a demo is supposed to really show us that we want to hear the full version, so even a demo must sound nice and crisp and upfront.

Good work on playing the guitars though.

Pretty nice but the drums...

The song is nice, but the drums are rather rough with that rhythm and it could use some change to clean it up. The rest is pretty nice, though a little too quiet at parts like at 1 min in. May want to work on this one some more.

Yeah, it's rather grainy and could probably use a little cleaning up. Also a few parts seem rather rough on the panning when they play just in one speaker at about 50 seconds.

This song is rather short as well as repetitive. I personally would rather have heard a more prominent melody as this is mostly harmonic.

Good stuff though.

ACtually if you listen to the song with headphones you will hear an explosion noise, apart from all that the sound is not very good because I was having some technical difficulties trying to bring down the decibles to an acceptable level. All in all thank you very much fo rthe imput, I will work harder to make songs in the long wrong much better and thank you for the imput.

Pretty nice.

It's rather short though, as well as the mixing needs a good punch in volume to help keep it from being rather soft at parts. It's very well composed though, I'll give you that. Also the ending feels pretty rushed, and could probably use more instruments playing on those notes.

Interesting mixture here

Really interesting mixture of orchestral and hip hop. Really cool drums, I like how they feel along with the orchestral instruments. Song felt repetitive at parts though, and could probably use something that's not heard at other parts every now and then to keep things interesting.
